My journey into upcycling didn’t start with knowing exactly what I was doing. It started with curiosity and the desire to learn how discarded materials could be transformed into something beautiful, useful, and worth keeping.

On August 20, 2023, I joined a DIY upcycling workshop. In exchange for 3 pieces of discarded denim, I got to learn how to assemble my own upcycled leather pouch.
I’m so glad I made my own version!

It was one of my first steps toward learning the art of upcycling—turning old and discarded materials into something new and useful.
I’m still learning, experimenting, and doing my best to create more pieces from what would otherwise become waste.
And this is just the beginning of my upcycling journey. ♻️
